By submitting your film to the Nimruz Short Film Club, you agree to the following:
License to Share Your Film
You grant Nimruz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, promote, and share your submitted film (“Work”) on Nimruz platforms, including our YouTube channel, website, social media accounts, and related promotional materials.
This license allows Nimruz to:
Upload and stream your film online
Share excerpts, trailers, stills, and clips for promotional purposes
Include your film in Short Film Club programming and marketing
Reformat or resize materials as needed for different platforms
You retain full ownership of your film and may continue to distribute or license it elsewhere at any time.
Credit
Nimruz will make reasonable efforts to credit the filmmaker and any provided project information when publishing the Work.
Your Rights & Responsibilities
By submitting, you confirm that:
You own the rights to the Work or have permission to submit it
The Work does not knowingly infringe on the rights of any third party, including music, footage, images, or other copyrighted material
You have obtained any necessary permissions or releases related to the Work
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nimruz against claims arising from materials or rights you did not have permission to use.
Removal Requests
If you would like your film removed from Nimruz platforms in the future, you may submit a written request to Nimruz. Nimruz will make reasonable efforts to remove the Work within sixty (60) days.
Additional Notes
Submission to the Short Film Club does not guarantee selection or publication.
These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Nimruz regarding your submission and are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
