Mozhan Navabi is an Iranian-American actor, writer and director based in New York. She is most well-known for her work as FBI Agent Samar on NBC’s The Blacklist, and as journalist Ayla Sayyad on House of Cards. As a writer, her work has been screened at the El Gouna Film Festival, Provincetown Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest, and the Asian-American Film Festival. Her screenplay, When the Lights Went Out, was adapted as a play and produced at New York Stage & Film.
